In late 2019 I was diagnosed with skin cancer on my nose and near the corner of my eye. This was especially alarming as I had already had the same issue on the other side of my nose and near the eye years ago and knew that I would need MOHS surgery with follow up plastic surgery from a specialized oculoplastic surgeon. I was relieved to discover Dr. Alexander Rabinovich, an oculoplastics-trained ophthalmologist and member of the teaching faculty at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary in New York which is rated as one the best in the world. With Dr. Rabinovitch’s calm and professional communication style and background, I knew from our initial meeting that I was in good hands. I scheduled the surgeries for early 2020. Post-surgeries, after discovering how extensive the spread of cancer had been both wide and deep, with Dr. Rabinovitch’s concern and surgical skills the result was short of a miracle. Even though I still have some healing to do, most people would not know that this surgery was even done! With gratitude, I highly recommend Dr. Alexander Rabinovitch.

I can’t find enough words to express my great experience with Dr. Alexander Rabinovich. For many years I didn’t find any courage for the blepharoplasty surgery of my upper lids. I had many appointments with the plastic surgeons and couldn’t make up my mind until I met Dr. Rabinovich. From the very beginning of my first appointment I felt that IT IS THE RIGHT DOCTOR for me and all worries had been disappeared. Everything was going very smoothly. I never ever had any pain or any kind of discomfort. The recovery period was short and redness of the lids was gone after the surgery very soon.
